Review of Margaret (2011) by Kimberly C — 02 Aug 2012
Very powerful character study and story. Nothing in the movie is predictable. The all-star cast is powerfully attune to their characters and the story. Anna Paquin gives a more convincing and emotionally deep performance here than she does in True Blood.
Even Allison Janney and Mark Ruffalo's few minutes on screen are emotionally deep and startlingly real. Prepare yourself for two and half hours of discomfort and caring deeply, and your in for story telling at it's best.
