Review of Margaret (2011) by Ricardo Junior S — 09 Sep 2012
"Margaret" is a mess, but a understandable one: somehow, it reflects the protagonist's mind, an adolescent who is trying to come to terms with her life after an abrupt, traumatic event. Specially after the first hour, this movie grows absorving, insightful and emotional.
Not a perfect experience, but, definitely, a challenging coming to age tale. As the central piece of the puzzle, Paquin delivers one more brilliant performance.
