Review of Margaret (2011) by Corey B — 10 Jun 2013
A 17-year-old girl tries to make things right after unintentionally causing a bus driver to run over and kill a woman. Post 9/11 drama that could be described as an impressive mess. Lengthy and occasionally messy yet undeniably admirable and ambitious for its accurate character portrayals, particularly in the titular character of Margaret, who represents the average young girl with her passionate devotion to her convictions, even when those convictions are wrong.
A star studded cast adds to the appeal of the film.
