Review of Marebito (2004) by Jan K — 27 Sep 2007
Some fairly typical horror elements, but the film is nicely shot and very atmospheric. Some nice Lovecraftian touches in the underground caves and the talk of returning to the sea, but unfortunately the film takes some slasher elements that, while laughable in a typical slasher flick, are quite disturbing due to the low key nature of the film.
