Review of Mardi Gras (1958) by Ashley H — 15 Oct 2011
Mardi Gras is a cute film. It is about cadets at the Virginia Military Institute who organized a raffle to win a date with Michelle Marton, a French actress. Pat Boone and Christine Carère give excellent performances.
The screenplay is decent and the music's great. Edmund Goulding did a great job directing this movie. I liked this motion picture but not one of my favorites.
