Review of Marathon Man (1976) by Alex S — 20 Jun 2009
It showed promise, and for the most part the first act is a great example of allowing an audience to learn about characters without spoon-feeding them lengthy explanation, but as soon as Hoffman's character gets kidnapped, the plot implodes on itself and any credibility the movie had is lost.
At that point, I almost turned the DVD off, but I was bored and had nothing else to do.
