Review of Marathon Man (1976) by Mike T — 23 Sep 2007
Somehow Dustin Hoffman's character weirded me out more than Laurence Olivier as a Nazi dentist. But don't read too much into that. I am firmly anti-Nazi dentist. This movie would be a solid three and a half stars in my book were it not for the bumpercars scene that served as the catalyst.
That struck me as awesomely insane, but I don't know maybe that shit happens in New York all the time. Btw, don't miss THE Robert Evans hosting the making of featurette. Solid Gold.
