Review of Marathon Man (1976) by Bill K — 27 Feb 2009
Old Nazi comes out of hiding to get the diamonds he amassed by killing Jews in WWII out of a NYC bank. Hoffman is drawn in by his CIA brother and ends up WAY over his head as the Nazi believes Hoffman wants the diamonds, too.
The movie is best remembered for a brutal torture scene that is painful to watch.
