Rudy Pachouli (Hoffman) spent his childhood eating nothing but Marathon bars and now they've changed to Snickers he can't sue them. Crippled by dental bills and dogbreath, he visits a backstreet dentist (Olivier), an alcoholic parkinsons sufferer with predictable results.
