Review of Maps to the Stars (2014) by Oskar B — 20 Sep 2014
Weird but spellbinding an nothing to give away through a narrative scope, the star-studied cast gives good performances in this satire of hollywood. It feels like a b-movie but at the same time to intellectual and at the end makes little sense.
the storyline itself is sometimes a little too ambitious but either way makes it meta and eary at the same time. Thought provoking and begging to be analyzed, however Cronenbergs work must not be underappriciated.
