Maps To The Stars is a thoroughly entertaining, but flawed film that has some sharp dialogue and a truly fantastic performance from Julianne Moore. The film jumps from comedy to drama clumsily and the dramatic moments are often hard to take seriously, sometimes they're just awkward to watch, and towards the end everything feels a bit pretentious.
It's an okay film with some brilliant moments, but the weird mix of over the top comedy and completely serious drama makes for a very disjointed film.
