Review of Maps to the Stars (2014) by Jordan R — 05 Feb 2015
I did not like this film as much as I wanted to. All the acting in the film is excellent and the story is pleasingly strange, but I found it unecessarily crude and the ending left me scratching my head.
Early on in the film the viewer is presented with a mystery that you would assume will be answered by the end, but instead the film only acts as if it will answer the questions it has presented and then instead decides to finish without doing what it seemed to have promised.
I did not like this.
