This falls under "you think you're family is f**cked up?".
If you like to see great actors act and watch how the various relationships unfold in, albeit a very twisted way, you have found your movie. Julianne Moore doesn't fail to impress fresh after who Oscar win. She's one of our most gifted actresses and her willingness to take on unflattering roles has me memorized. Interestingly her last movie "Still Alice" featured "Twilight" actress Kristen Stewart who showed us she actually could act. This one features Robert Pattinson who also redeems himself from the aforementioned movie. This is not a comfortable film but certainly is worth your time if only for the knockout performances and storyline.
