I think I am giving it 4 because of the book. The movie adaptation was great but, of course, it just isn't as deep and heart wrenching as the book. I feel like we only got half (if that) of the story, but none the less it was a beautiful film.
The ballet scenes were awesome! Chi Cao did a great job as Li Cunxin. This is one of my favourite books, ever... the movie did pretty well.
