Review of Mao’s Last Dancer (2009) by Donna L — 06 Mar 2010
Mao's Last Dancer was an interesting film from an autobiography. Some good cross-cultural scenes with the film set in both China and USA. The only thing that was a little disappointing is that I thought some of the acting seemed a little strained and forced at times.
Although I am not usually interested in watching dancing , I will admit that there was some very impressive dancing in the film. A feel-good film and fascinating to think this happened in real life.
