Review of Mao’s Last Dancer (2009) by Duncan C — 20 Jul 2010
Likeable enough. In places it's a little flat which exposes the corny dialogue and hammy acting, but the dancing is brilliant. Watch out for the tear-jerk Hollywood ending (x2). Certainly Li Cunxin's journey is remarkable and if you have been fortunate enough to hear him speak on the conference circuit, he's better in the flesh.
