If there's one movie you see this year, then it has to be "Food, Inc." or "Mao's Last Dancer".
I didn't know what to expect going in to the movie. I first saw it because my Mom is one of the supporting actors, but I'm recommending you go see it because of the true story the movie is based on.
I was never really interested in history during high school. Thus, I didn't know too much about communist China and what that means to one's life.
The story of Li Cunxin details his life growing up in China. His story has inspired and touched many people around the world, but many more have yet to experience it.
True stories are always the best.
Find a cinema that's playing "Mao's Last Dancer" as soon as you can!
