Review of Mao’s Last Dancer (2009) by Giulia D — 29 Dec 2012
Good movie, another true story, this time is a cinese ballet dancer. Took from his village when he was still a child from the communist regime to be trained as a dancer, he was then selected for a stage in the States.
Interesting portrait if the regime and the history of China's foreign relations. Very good dancing. Touching story. You don't have to love dancing to like it.
