Review of Manufacturing Dissent (2007) by Jessica M — 11 Feb 2008
Any fan of Michael Moore's movies and writings (and I include myself in this group) should watch this movie. The revelations about Moore are disappointing, to say the least, but the criticisms and questions brought-up by the documentarians are very fair; this is not a counter-attack film made by some right-wing zealots.
Far from it. It leaves one with an interesting question to ponder: Is it okay to use a little creative licence when making documentaries, as long as it puts across an important message and captures the attention of an audience who might not normally see a documentary?
