Review of Manufacturing Dissent (2007) by Andy G — 10 Nov 2008
I wanted to love this film. I really did. Any movie that shows Michael Moore to be the biggest propagandist, hypocrite, and to be an overall all intellectual lightweight, should be something I love.
However, I found the film to be nothing more than a clone of the tactics, deception, questionable editing, and taking everything out of context, that is par for the course of a Michael Moore film.
Anyone with a brain can see Michael Moore for what he is. And parts of the movie exposed him to a point that made me smile.
Lowering to the level of Michael Moore though, is something that anyone no matter what the political leanings, should aspire to.
