Review of Manufactured Landscapes (2006) by David R — 17 Aug 2007
Documentary about Canadian photographer Edward Burtynsky who photgraphs huge landscapes which have been transformed by human construction. Mostly set in China ahowing some of the enormous factories and rubbish dumps that as a chinese resident you don't normally see in day to day life.
Has some startling images and an eerie soundtrack but is a bit disjointed and goes on a bit at times. Worth a look but keep the remote to hand if you're impatient.
