Review of Manufactured Landscapes (2006) by Sarah M — 29 Nov 2007
I thought this movie was well presented considering all of the devastating photography being shown. And yet it was done in a way in which was not to judge but simply to show and let you decide what was meant by what you were seeing.
But of course it was mind-blowing and a little upsetting that this kind of devastation is happening around us and the worst perhaps is that WE are the ones fueling the destruction by our addiction as a society to consume and then discard.
Repeat. We don't stop enough to think about where all of this is going once we toss it. If you want some things put in perspective then this would be your ticket.
