Review of Manufactured Landscapes (2006) by Matt O — 14 Dec 2007
Part photo essay, part study into the effects of globalisation, this is an intriguing doco. Very slow but perfectly paced for the subject matter. The film itself actually feels like an Edward Burtynsky photo, very structured but somewhat disturbing and confronting without politicizing or forcing a view.
Beautiful pics too.
