Review of Manos: The Hands of Fate (2022) by Kyle N — 30 Dec 2013
Regularly cited as one of the worst films ever made, horrifically incompetent chiller, Manos: The Hands of Fate, is a though-and-through must-see movie, if only to experience its complete cinematic ineptitude.
Abysmal acting, a nonsensical narrative and painful pace issues characterise what is quite simply silver screen suicide; a truly unbelievable picture, watchable solely for the hilarity of its unintentional comedy and sheer ludicrousness. But I guess this is just what happens in 1966 when you give a Texan insurance and fertiliser salesman funding to write, direct and star in his own horror movie. Manos has to be seen to be believed.
