Review of Manos: The Hands of Fate (1966) by Alex K — 07 Oct 2007
This movie reminds me of my favorite quote from Billy Madison:
"Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.".
That is like Manos, and it was so horribly bad, that I must have laughed for minutes on end. There literally is not a redeemable quality to the movie outside of its utter awfulness. Just remember that these are 80 minutes of your life you will never get back. Either do something else or get ready to stab yourself with a rusty knife. Choose wisely!
