Review of Manos: The Hands of Fate (1966) by Olof F — 18 Oct 2007
This has got to be one of the funniest movies I have ever seen...even though it's supposed to be a horror film. I absolutely love the background music-maybe somewhat inappropriate but somehow it works...the score would have been doable in a Charlie Brown cartoon. And, there was a chance for a new dance craze-the Torgo....it's easy, all you have to do is stuff cushions down your pants and walk like you have DT's.
Despite some editing issues, a horrible catfight (no boobs exposed), and too much time devoted to the running joke of the amorous couple getting broken up by the local sheriff's department, I really loved this movie.
