Review of Manic (2001) by Amy D — 27 Jan 2010
This movie was done in a very mockumentary style.
The shaking of the camera got a bit on my nerves at times but it also made this movie feel extremely real.
I never wanted this movie to end. By the end of this movie I truly cared about Lyle and Tracey and I really wanted the movie to keep going just so I could see what happens to them.
I liked the fact that this movie didn't go with all the obvious choices. It went to certain places I didn't expect.
It just felt honest.
I loved it.
Is there anything Joesph-Gordan Levitt can't do brilliantly?
