Gory and Gritty, with a POV style that goes beyond gimmick and has some very clever conventions to keep the film going. Fiercely devoid though of comic relief and brutal to watch at times. It gets under your skin (pun intended) from the opening titles, and what more could you ask from a Horror film these days?
