It was great to see Elijah in another role that suits him. He was very convincing as "the serial killer next door". The point of view shots and flawless music make this movie unforgettable. A unique film, true to its slasher genre that at times evokes both Lynch's Blue Velvet (1986) and Nicolas Winding Refn's Drive (2011).
If you like horror and gore you will love Maniac.
