A true throwback to exploitation slasher films with a modern edge. Wood's performance has just enough nuance to give a nod to the original's Joe Spinnell while making it his own. This film is clearly made by those with love for the genre and I thank them for the offering.
It is often said "they don't make them like they used to". In this case, it's made exactly like they used to, and that's why I loved it.
