Frodo Baggins as a psycho-killer in this boring, nasty, empty headed thriller. It was a real ordeal to sit through. The continuous POV gets tiresome and the film just gets incredibly silly whilst trying it's hardest to be artistic.
The lead character's voice over is wholly annoying. It's quite nasty in places but even the gore effects look decidedly cheap and fake. I'm not a big fan of William Lustig's original but it's far superior to this.
