Review of Maniac (2012) by Nathan R — 08 Feb 2014
Its hard to call it either a slasher or a psycological horror, since its more of a combination of both, a murder story from the literal point of view of the crazy killer. Deeply disturbed at his core, Frank sets out to gruesomely murder some women to fill thi trauma triggered obsession, and thanks to the personal point of view and the good writing the movie has, it shines among a thousand slashers or psycological horror movies as a very violent and personal flick that I clearly enjoyed.
