A movie about a deranged individual whose mother was a hooker that locked him in the closet during her tricks. Now he kidnaps, kills and scalps women, which he then takes home to nail to the heads of one of his massive array of mannequins, which he sleeps with.
Maniac! is not high art nor is it award winning material. It is what it is and merely aims to gross out, disturb its audience, which it mostly succeeds in doing.
