Probably the best thriller of the 1980s. Manhunter is an all-round masterpiece; brilliant performances, script, cinematography, editing, music, you name it. Silence Of The Lambs wishes it was as good as this.
As for those of you who prefer the Brett Ratner remake... words fail me.
