Review of Manhunter (1986) by Steven M — 14 May 2008
An 80s classic. Ultra-stylish and not the jokey, cliched horror fest with a camp Hannibal which was Silence Of The Lambs. This has much more depth and is more disturbing for it. If you've read the book, Red Dragon, you may be disappointed, but otherwise this is as solid as a rock.
The soundtrack, though cringeworthy in parts, has some meaty synths on it too.
