William Peterson as Graham is superb, and Brian Cox as an early Hannibal Lecter is fascinating. This movie has moments that I like more than in the remake, but the hideously 80's, Miami Vice soundtrack and settings really hurt this film.
The editor also quit towards the end of filming, so it was edited by Mann himself. What he does and why, I don't know, but it's absolutely awful.
