Review of Manhunter (1986) by James R — 16 Aug 2010
Dont get me wrong, Red Dragon is a good film, but this is much better. Sure Red Dragon has all the big namers and I wish some could have been in this, mostly for continuity, but everyone excelled in this.
Graham is more disturbed and developed in this and Noonan blows Ralph out of the water. Get action sequences and thrills and chills. Good soundtrack too if you can disregard the hard 80's vibes. And poor Brian Cox is underrated.
You cant compare him to Hopkins of course but he still brings it.
