Review of Manhattan Murder Mystery (1993) by Caleb M — 26 May 2011
A hilarious light comedy from the master of light comedy, Manhattan Murder Mystery is a riot all the way through. Based on the original premise surrounding Annie Hall, you can see Woody Allen never throws away a good idea, finally finding a way to weave a romance around a murder.
Allen's cast and script are a perfect match, and the end is a funny and excitingly visual homage to films noir, particularly The Lady From Shanghai.
