Can't say I get woody allen's appeal. I guess his style was innovative at the time, but is just lost on me now. that said, I think this is probably one of his better ones (though i've yet to see some of his big ones like Annie Hall or Deconstructing Harry)(and not including Match Point (which I loved so much) because it's not very much his style).
