Review of Manhattan (1979) by Adam K — 14 Mar 2009
I generally don't like Woody Allen or Diane Keaton, but I guess their annoyance melded together made them fun to watch. The black and white cinematography was beautiful and romantic for a city that is also both in Allen's eyes; it works well with the film.
Meryl Streep is great in her little time on screen and Mariel Hemingway was a very pleasant surprise with her great performance. Overall I enjoyed it.
