Review of Manhattan (1979) by Touching F — 31 Jan 2010
Manhattan is a Woody Allen masterpiece that is a great example at the comedic genius that is Woody Allen, loaded with memorable one liners throughout the entire film. The cast works great with each other and the story helps this out being a realistic look at the lives of loves of a group of people.
The true star of Manhattan is the city itself the black and white photography works wonders with some of the best cinematography every put on film with it's inticate shots of locales in Manhattan.
All around a classic cinematic achievement that will go down as not only one of the best comedies ever but films as well.
