Review of Manhattan (1979) by Edgar C — 31 Dec 2012
Exquisite tribute to classical romance in movies. This is the most unconventional project we see from the little and cute love explorer and passionate women analyzer; he literally expresses his deep affection towards great past masters, from Bergman to Fellini (add some Duck Soup [1933] love in there, please).
The opening of the film is one of the best sequences in the history of cinema.
98/100.
