Review of Manhattan (1979) by Jocelyn T — 25 Sep 2008
I saw this a couple days ago and it is still simmering in my subconscious. While I found the 17 year old / 42 year old relationship fairly disgusting, I did find this to be a well-written commentary on love.
I saw glimmers of what might make someone like Woody attractive, which is strange because I doubt that he would get very far as an actor today. As usual, Keaton's performance is spectacular. Also, appreciated the ending.
