Review of Manhattan (1979) by Dalmar H — 31 Oct 2008
It's seldom one finds balance like this in any work. For Woody Allen to have done it across a lifetime is remarkable. Watch this for its neurosis, for its comedy, for its acting, for the writing, the cinematographic, and things you wanted to point at and say "that was it!" Watch it to watch life laugh at you, and you will find nothing in it wanting.
