Review of Manhattan (1979) by Felipe V — 08 May 2009
Don't really know why Allan considers this his best.
The cinenetography is cloyingly lavish-not nearly as good as his later work with Carlo Di Palma-and the story lacks any emotional punch, the protagonist being an unsympathetic shit heel.
Good scenes and dialogue throughout.
