Review of Manhattan (1979) by Gavin P — 19 Jul 2013
I definitely liked this more than Annie Hall! Allen is much more endearing in this film, and it's a nice love 'pent-angle' between him, Keaton, Hemingway, Murphy & Byrne. The black & white works well, as does the score, making it feel like a classic romantic-comedy.
Great acting from the cast and a pretty realistic ending - you can't always get what you want!
