Positive points for the atmosphere, but nothing else.
It's convincing up to a point, though its formula doesn't provide a whole lot in the way of scares or suspense either.

It's convincing up to a point, though its formula doesn't provide a whole lot in the way of scares or suspense either.
I can throw out the word disaster to qualify the results, but Mandrake merely follows the same style of almost every Shudder film I've seen in recent weeks, which is why it seems so similar and uneventful.
I think its best enjoyment will depend on how involved each viewer feels, especially horror lovers. I personally wasn't satisfied. That's pretty much it.
