Review of Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom (2013) by Mark A — 28 Dec 2013

A powerful story about one of the greatest figures of our time. Idris Elba's performance is great too. Unfortunately, it follows a cliche'd chronological narrative format. Therefore, it suffers from issues of pacing, tone, and overall focus on what it should spend it's time showing.

This would have been better as a miniseries on HBO. Nevertheless, it's still interesting and powerful.
