Review of Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom (2013) by Josh O — 13 Feb 2014

Um...so there's a compelling story somewhere in this movie...it's just not focused on at all...As magnetic as Idris Elba is even he can't make this long slog engaging or interesting. Honestly this movie was so bland and by the numbers that I'd prefer to read a text book on Mandela than watch this movie again.

Don't get me wrong, it is not terrible but there is nothing about this movie that makes me see why it was made...
