Review of Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom (2013) by M A — 28 Feb 2014
"This Nation is ruled by gun, there is no other way either to submit or to fight!" ... the years goes by and "I have walked a long walk to freedom. It has been a lonely road, and it is not over yet. I know that my country, was not made to be a land of hatred. No one is born hating another person because the color of his skin. People learn to hate. They can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart." the autobiography of Nelson Mandela this movie was great... Idris Elba was a star he played the role very well and conveyed the message, portrayed a great man and he done a very good job, with me he will always be 'Luthor' :) but that's another talk... Naomie Harris is also a star Winnie is the real hero in my view all these year fighting the fight she was great...
This movie was great! but its main problem was time! the release date on one hand and the runtime on the other... the film is +2 hours and the story of this main required more and they did manage to catch only the highlights. So time! but still this was a good one not great as it supposed to be. I'll give it a 8/10.
